At Shining Star Epoxy, we stand behind the quality of our flooring systems and professional installation. This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or commercial use, subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations outlined below.
Warranty Coverage
- Adhesion & Delamination - Covers instances where the epoxy coating separates, peels, or delaminates from the concrete substrate.
- Cracking - Covers cracking that occurs as a direct result of the epoxy material itself (not movement or defects in the concrete slab).
- Blistering Covers the formation of bubbles or blisters within the epoxy coating caused by product or application failure.
Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty does not cover issues arising from conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Substrate Conditions - Failure or defects in the underlying concrete, such as structural cracking, heaving, settlement, or moisture intrusion.
- Damage - Damage caused by impacts, dropped objects, dragging heavy equipment or furniture, tire spinning, or cracks resulting from movement of the concrete slab.
- Chemical Exposure - Damage or deterioration caused by harsh or corrosive chemicals, including but not limited to battery acid, brake fluid, or industrial solvents.
- Environmental Factors - Discoloration, fading, or damage due to UV exposure, weathering, flooding, fire, or other natural disasters.
- Wear & Tear - Normal surface wear from foot traffic, loss of gloss or finish from heavy use, or issues arising from improper cleaning or maintenance practices.
- Alterations & DIY Repairs - Any modification, alteration, or repair performed by anyone other than Shining Star Epoxy.
- Proof of Installation - To submit a warranty claim, proof of purchase and evidence of installation by Shining Star Epoxy is required. We may also request photographs of the affected area to assist in claim evaluation.
